Do I need to install an app?

No — it runs in your browser and uses your device camera directly. On a phone it works like a dedicated scanner app, with no install.

Are the photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The crop, the perspective correction, the cleanup, and the PDF assembly all happen on your device. The images never leave the browser.

How does the cropping work?

Each page gets an automatic starting crop box. Drag its four corners onto the real edges of the document and the page is perspective-corrected to a flat rectangle. You can also keep the full frame.

Can I scan a multi-page document?

Yes — capture as many pages as you need, reorder or remove any of them, and they're saved into one PDF in that order.
