Does this support the older .doc format?

No — only the modern .docx format used by Word 2007 and later. If you have an old .doc file, most word processors can re-save it as .docx first.

Will formatting like headings and bold text carry over?

Yes — the document is rendered as it would actually display, including headings, bold/italic text, and paragraph spacing, then turned into PDF pages.

No. It's rendered and converted to PDF directly in your browser tab — no server ever receives the file.

Convert a .docx into a PDF right here. The document is rendered on your device, page by page — it's never sent anywhere to be converted.
