Compress PDF for Email

Most email providers cap attachments somewhere between 20 and 25 MB, and because the message gets encoded in transit the practical safe limit is lower — around 15 MB. Anything bigger bounces, or silently fails to send. This page targets roughly that safe size. It re-renders each page of your PDF and steps the quality down only as far as needed to bring the whole file under about 15 MB, so a document that is only a little too large stays close to its original quality. Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Yahoo all sit in the same range, so one pass covers the common cases. If your PDF is enormous — a high-resolution scan of a long contract, say — and still won't fit, you will get the smallest version the tool could reach and a suggestion to split it and send it in two messages. The compression is done entirely in your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded to a third-party server on the way to being shrunk, and there is no daily limit.
